What is ODK?

ODK (Open Data Kit) is a free and open-source suite of tools that helps organizations author, field, and manage mobile data collection surveys. It's commonly used for research, monitoring and evaluation, and other data-gathering activities in low-resource settings. ODK supports offline data collection on Android devices and uploads data to a central server when an internet connection is available. This makes it suitable for areas with limited connectivity. ODK uses the XForms standard to define surveys and supports various data types, including text, numbers, GPS coordinates, images, audio, and video.
