What is OCT?

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging technique that uses light waves to capture high-resolution, three-dimensional images from within optical scattering media (e.g., biological tissue). It is commonly used in ophthalmology to image the retina and diagnose eye diseases, but it also has applications in cardiology, dermatology, and other medical fields for imaging tissue structures.
