**Object Oriented Design and Programming**

What is Object Oriented Design and Programming?

Object-Oriented Design and Programming (OOD/OOP) is a programming paradigm based on the concept of "objects", which contain data in the form of fields (often known as attributes or properties), and code, in the form of procedures (often known as methods). A distinguishing feature of objects is that an object's procedures can access and often modify the data fields of the object with which they are associated. Thus, object-oriented programming enables encapsulating data and methods within objects, which promotes modularity, reusability, and maintainability of code. Common uses include developing software applications, systems, and libraries where complex relationships and interactions between data and functions are prevalent. Popular OOP languages include Java, C++, Python, and C#.
