What is O-scope?

An oscilloscope (often abbreviated as O-scope or scope) is a laboratory instrument commonly used to display and analyze the waveform of electronic signals. In effect, the device draws a graph of the instantaneous signal voltage as a function of time. It's used to visualize signals, measure their properties (like frequency, amplitude, and pulse width), and diagnose circuit problems.
