What is NW Gateway?

NW Gateway likely refers to a network gateway. A network gateway is a node (router) that serves as an access point to another network. It acts as an entry and exit point for a network, directing data that flows in or out of the network. Gateways are commonly used to connect different networks, such as a local network to the Internet, or different types of networks that use different protocols. In smaller networks the function of a gateway could be done by a router. However, larger networks, use dedicated appliances that act as a gateway.
