What is NGINX Ingress Controller?

The NGINX Ingress Controller is an Ingress controller for Kubernetes that uses NGINX as a reverse proxy and load balancer. It's responsible for routing external HTTP(S) traffic to the appropriate services within the Kubernetes cluster. It configures NGINX based on Ingress resources defined in Kubernetes, allowing users to expose their applications to the outside world in a flexible and automated manner.
