What is NCID?

NCID (Network Caller ID) is a software package that displays the incoming caller ID information on computers connected to a network. It typically uses a modem or dedicated hardware connected to a phone line on one machine to capture the caller ID and then broadcasts this information to other computers running NCID client software on the same network.
