What is Natural/ADABAS?

Natural is a 4GL (fourth-generation programming language) and ADABAS is a database management system (DBMS). They are tightly integrated and typically used together. ADABAS is known for its inverted list structure, which provides fast data access. Natural is used to develop applications that access and manipulate data stored in ADABAS.
