What is MVVM/MVC?

MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) and MVC (Model-View-Controller) are architectural patterns used for structuring user interfaces. MVC separates the application into three interconnected parts: the Model (data), the View (presentation), and the Controller (logic). MVVM is similar, but replaces the Controller with a ViewModel, which acts as an intermediary between the View and the Model, exposing data required by the view and handling user actions. Both patterns aim to improve code organization, testability, and maintainability by separating concerns.
