What is MS PKI?

Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure (MS PKI) is Microsoft's implementation of PKI, which is a system for creating, managing, distributing, using, storing, and revoking digital certificates. These certificates are used to establish identity and secure communications. MS PKI is commonly used for securing web servers with SSL/TLS, authenticating users and devices to a network, digitally signing documents and code, and encrypting data.
