What is MS Azure Active Directory?

Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is a cloud-based identity and access management service. It helps users sign in and access resources in Microsoft cloud services like Microsoft 365, as well as resources in on-premises systems and other SaaS applications. It's commonly used for user authentication, authorization, managing user identities and access, and enabling single sign-on (SSO).
