What is MLib?

MLlib is Apache Spark's scalable machine learning library. It provides a wide range of tools for tasks like classification, regression, clustering, collaborative filtering, dimensionality reduction, and feature extraction and transformation. MLlib is commonly used for building and deploying machine learning models in distributed environments, leveraging Spark's parallel processing capabilities for efficient computation on large datasets. It includes both RDD-based API and DataFrame-based API (spark.ml), with spark.ml being the primary API.
