What is Microsoft Query?

Microsoft Query (MS Query) is a Microsoft Windows application that allows users to retrieve data from external data sources, such as databases or text files, and import that data into Microsoft Excel or other Microsoft Office applications. It essentially acts as an interface to create and execute SQL queries against these external data sources without needing to know SQL directly, thanks to its graphical query designer.
