What is Microsoft PKI?

Microsoft PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) is a system of digital certificates, certificate authorities (CAs), and other registration authorities that verify and authenticate the validity of each party involved in an electronic transaction using cryptography. It is commonly used to secure communications (e.g., HTTPS/TLS), authenticate users and devices, encrypt data, and digitally sign documents and code within an organization.
