What is MCAS?

Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS) is a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) that provides visibility into cloud apps, helps control data travel, and protects against cyber threats. It helps organizations discover and manage cloud apps, protect sensitive information at rest and in transit, and defend against cloud-native threats and anomalies. It's commonly used to gain visibility into shadow IT, control access to cloud resources, enforce data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and detect and respond to suspicious activities.
