What is LTPA?

LTPA, or Lightweight Third-Party Authentication, is a single sign-on (SSO) solution primarily used within IBM WebSphere Application Server environments. It allows users to authenticate once to a WebSphere domain and then seamlessly access other applications within that domain without re-authenticating. LTPA involves the exchange of encrypted tokens between servers to verify the user's identity.
