What is Lockbox?

AWS Lockbox provides an additional layer of security and control over your data stored within AWS. It allows you to grant AWS support personnel temporary access to your data only under exceptional circumstances and with your explicit approval. This helps ensure that sensitive data remains protected, even during troubleshooting or maintenance activities. It works by requiring your approval every time AWS support attempts to access your data.
