What is Lanyon?

Lanyon was a software company that developed IT asset management and endpoint security solutions. Their software helped organizations manage and secure their computer systems, including tracking hardware and software inventory, managing software licenses, and detecting and responding to security threats. The company was acquired by Lumension, which was later acquired by Ivanti. Therefore, Lanyon software is now part of the Ivanti product suite, although the Lanyon name is no longer actively used.
