What is Keyword Driven?

Keyword-driven testing is a software testing methodology where test cases are designed and executed based on keywords that represent actions or behaviors. Instead of writing tests directly in a programming language, testers use a table-like structure (often an Excel spreadsheet) to define keywords and their corresponding data inputs. A separate script interprets these keywords and performs the necessary actions on the application under test. This approach promotes reusability, maintainability, and allows testers with less programming experience to create and execute automated tests.
