What is ISO2700x?

ISO2700x refers to the ISO 27000 family of standards, specifically focusing on information security management systems (ISMS). ISO 27001 is the most well-known standard in the family, specifying the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an ISMS. It is commonly used to help organizations protect their information assets (data, intellectual property, financial information, employee details, and third-party information) by providing a framework of policies and procedures encompassing all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organization's information risk management processes. Other standards in the ISO 27000 family provide guidelines and best practices for various aspects of information security.
