What is ISO17025?

ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard that specifies the general requirements for the competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of laboratories. It is used by laboratories to develop their management system for quality, administrative, and technical operations. Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 demonstrates that a laboratory has a proven quality management system, and can consistently produce valid results, thereby enhancing confidence in their testing and calibration data.
