What is IMOS?

IMOS (Integrated Marine Observing System) is Australia's national collaborative marine research infrastructure. It observes the oceans around Australia to provide data for understanding and managing our marine environment. It uses a variety of observing platforms, including satellites, moorings, gliders, and ships to collect physical, chemical, and biological data.
