What is immunofluorescence assays?

Immunofluorescence assays (IFAs) are techniques used to visualize and localize specific proteins or antigens within cells or tissues. This is achieved by using antibodies that are chemically linked to fluorescent dyes. These antibodies bind specifically to the target antigen in the sample.
