What is IEC 62368-1?
IEC 62368-1 is an international safety standard that applies to audio, video, information and communication technology equipment. It's a hazard-based safety engineering (HBSE) standard that focuses on identifying potential energy sources that could cause pain or injury, and then designing the equipment to mitigate those hazards. It replaces both IEC 60950-1 (for IT and communications equipment) and IEC 60065 (for audio, video, and similar electronic apparatus).
