What is HYSIS?

HYSYS (now Aspen HYSYS) is a chemical process simulator used for steady-state and dynamic simulation, primarily in the oil and gas, refining, and chemical industries. It's used to model chemical processes, design plants, optimize operations, perform 'what-if' studies, and troubleshoot existing processes. It allows engineers to predict the behavior of processes, evaluate different design options, and improve process efficiency and safety.
