What is Historians?

Historians are professionals who study and interpret the past. While not a 'technology' in the traditional sense, the methods and tools they use to analyze historical sources and construct narratives can be considered a form of technology for understanding and explaining historical events. They use primary sources (like documents, artifacts, and oral histories) and secondary sources (like books and articles) to understand how past events unfolded, and to create narratives and interpretations about the significance of those events. They commonly work in academia, museums, archives, and government agencies.
