What is Harbor?

Harbor is an open source, trusted, cloud native registry project that stores, signs, and scans content. Harbor extends the open source Docker Distribution by adding the functionalities usually required by users such as security, identity, and management. Often used as a private registry for container images, Helm charts, and other artifacts in a Kubernetes or containerized environment. It is often used in DevOps workflows for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
