H.320 is an ITU-T standard for videoconferencing over ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) or other switched digital circuits. It defines a set of protocols to establish and manage multimedia communications, including audio, video, and data, between two or more endpoints. It was commonly used in older video conferencing systems but has largely been superseded by IP-based protocols like H.323 and SIP.
