What is GLP?

GLP, standing for Good Laboratory Practice, is a quality system concerned with the organizational process and the conditions under which non-clinical health and environmental safety studies are planned, performed, monitored, recorded, archived and reported. It is essentially a set of principles intended to assure the quality and integrity of non-clinical laboratory studies; GLP is often associated with pharmaceuticals and regulated industries.
