What is FlexConnect?

Cisco FlexConnect is a wireless solution for branch office and remote site deployments. It enables customers to configure and manage access points (APs) from the central office without requiring a controller in every office. In essence, FlexConnect allows APs to switch client traffic locally and perform client authentication locally when the connection to the central controller is lost, providing network resiliency and continued service.
