What is FASTER?

FASTER is a concurrent key-value store developed by Microsoft Research. It's designed for high-performance, supporting both in-memory and hybrid (memory and disk) storage. FASTER distinguishes itself through its lock-free data structures and techniques like epoch-based reclamation, which allow it to achieve very low latency and high throughput, especially under heavy workloads.
