Event-based architecture is a software architecture paradigm where components communicate by emitting and reacting to events. An event signifies a state change or occurrence. Components, known as event producers, publish events without needing to know which consumers will receive them. Other components, event consumers, subscribe to specific events and react accordingly when those events occur. This promotes loose coupling, scalability, and resilience.
