What is ES2016?

ES2016 (also known as ECMAScript 2016 or ES7) is a version of the ECMAScript standard. It introduced two main features: Array.prototype.includes() which provides a more readable way to check if an array contains a specific value and the exponentiation operator (**) for performing exponentiation calculations. It represents an incremental update to the JavaScript language adding convenience and expressiveness to common tasks.
