What is ENISA?

ENISA, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, is an agency of the European Union established in 2004 to achieve a high common level of cybersecurity across Europe. ENISA contributes to EU cyber policy, enhances the trustworthiness of ICT products, services and processes with cybersecurity certification schemes, cooperates with Member States and EU bodies, and helps Europe prepare for future cyber challenges. It serves as a center of expertise and knowledge, providing guidance and recommendations on cybersecurity best practices to governments, businesses, and citizens. ENISA also plays a key role in incident response, risk management, and cybersecurity awareness.
