What is Einbruchmeldeanlagen?

Einbruchmeldeanlagen (EMA) is the German term for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). These systems are used to detect unauthorized entry into a building or area. They commonly employ sensors to detect breaches, such as door/window contacts, motion detectors, and glass break detectors. When a breach is detected, the system typically triggers an alarm (audible and/or silent) and may also notify a monitoring station or the property owner.
