What is Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio?

Eclipse is an integrated development environment (IDE) used for developing applications in various programming languages like Java, C++, and Python. It provides features like code editing, debugging, and project management. JBoss Developer Studio (JBDS), now often referred to as Red Hat Developer Studio or similar integrated offerings, was a commercial IDE based on Eclipse, specifically tailored for developing Java EE and related applications for the Red Hat JBoss Middleware platform. It included tools for working with technologies like JBoss Application Server (now WildFly), frameworks like CDI and JPA, and technologies like Maven. JBDS provided enhanced features for deploying, testing, and debugging applications within the Red Hat ecosystem.
