What is EBMS?

ebMS (Electronic Business Messaging Service) is a technical specification for the secure exchange of messages between businesses over the internet, often used in B2B communications and supply chain management. It defines a messaging protocol based on SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) that supports features like message reliability, security, and non-repudiation. ebMS builds on top of other standards such as SOAP, XML, and HTTP(S) to provide a framework for exchanging business documents and data in a standardized and reliable manner.
