What is EA?

EA most commonly refers to Enterprise Architecture. Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a conceptual blueprint that defines the structure and operation of an organization. The intent of an enterprise architecture is to determine how an organization can most effectively achieve its current and future objectives. It is commonly used for business and IT alignment, IT strategy, and business process improvement. Enterprise Architecture is used to guide and constrain the introduction, implementation and evolution of all or part of the IT capability within an organisation.
