What is Drawing?

Drawing is a visual art form in which an artist uses instruments to mark paper or another two-dimensional medium. Drawing instruments include graphite pencils, pen and ink, various kinds of paints, inked brushes, colored pencils, crayons, charcoal, chalk, pastels, erasers, styluses, and markers. Digital drawing can also be done using devices like tablets or computers. Common uses include creating illustrations, sketches, diagrams, architectural plans, and fine art.
