What is DC/OS?

DC/OS (now known as D2iQ Kubernetes Platform) was a distributed operating system built on Apache Mesos. It allowed you to manage and scale containerized applications, data services, and other workloads across a cluster of machines as if it were a single computer. DC/OS simplified tasks such as deploying, managing, and scaling applications and services, providing features like service discovery, load balancing, and resource management. It's main use was for large-scale deployments of microservices, big data processing frameworks (like Spark and Hadoop), and other distributed applications.
