What is CT scanning?

Computed Tomography (CT) scanning is a medical imaging technique that uses X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body. It is commonly used to diagnose a wide range of conditions, including tumors, fractures, internal bleeding, and infections. By rotating an X-ray tube around the patient, CT scanners acquire data from multiple angles, which is then processed by a computer to reconstruct a 3D image of the scanned area.
