What is CSIRT?

CSIRT stands for Computer Security Incident Response Team (also sometimes called a CERT, or Computer Emergency Response Team). A CSIRT is a team responsible for handling computer security incidents. This includes receiving, reviewing, and responding to incident reports, analyzing incidents, and providing support to mitigate damage and prevent future incidents. CSIRTs are commonly used by organizations to protect their assets and maintain business continuity in the face of cyber threats.
