CORSIM (CORridor SIMulation) was a microscopic traffic simulation model developed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). It simulated traffic flow on urban streets and freeways, modeling individual vehicles and their interactions. It was commonly used for evaluating traffic management strategies, analyzing signal timing, and assessing the impact of construction or incidents on traffic flow. CORSIM is no longer supported by FHWA and has been superseded by other simulation tools.
