Continuous wave (CW) Doppler radar transmits a continuous signal and detects changes in frequency caused by the Doppler effect to measure the velocity of a moving target. It's commonly used in speed guns, motion detectors, and some medical applications for blood flow measurement. Unlike pulsed radar, it cannot directly measure range.
