What is Conquest?

Conquest, in its general sense, refers to the act of overcoming and taking control of a place or people by use of military force or other forms of domination. While not a technology itself, the *tools* and *strategies* employed in conquest have evolved alongside technology. Historically, this has involved advancements in weaponry, transportation (ships, chariots, etc.), siege engines, and communication methods. In modern times, conquest can also involve cyber warfare, economic manipulation, and propaganda dissemination, all of which heavily rely on technological infrastructure.
