What is COE?

COE typically stands for Center of Excellence. It is not a specific technology but rather a team, shared facility or entity that provides leadership, best practices, research, support and/or training for a focus area. A COE's function is to serve as a resource for an organization on a specific area of expertise. They are used to drive organizational change, process improvements, and to disseminate knowledge and promote adoption of best practices.
