What is CodedUI?

Coded UI Test was a UI automation technology in Visual Studio for creating automated tests that validate the functionality of a user interface. It allowed testers to create tests that interact with the application's UI controls as a user would, automating tasks such as clicking buttons, entering text, and validating data. It was commonly used for regression testing, functional testing, and acceptance testing. Microsoft has deprecated Coded UI tests in favor of newer technologies like Playwright.
