What is cmi5?

cmi5 is an xAPI profile designed to support formal learning activities that require a higher degree of control and structure than is typically provided by general xAPI implementations. It defines a set of rules for launch, communication, and data exchange between Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and learning content (courses). cmi5 allows for more robust tracking of learning experiences, including progress, completion, and scoring, particularly for structured learning activities delivered outside the LMS environment.
