What is CESAR?

CESAR, also known as the Caesar cipher, is a simple substitution cipher where each letter in the plaintext is replaced by a letter some fixed number of positions down the alphabet. For example, with a right shift of 3, A would be replaced by D, B would become E, and so on. It is often used for educational purposes to introduce the basic concepts of cryptography but is easily broken due to its simplicity.
