What is CERT?

CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) is an expert group that handles computer security incidents. It studies security vulnerabilities, delivers artifact analysis, and develops information to increase security awareness. CERTs are often associated with national governments, universities, or large organizations and provide expertise and assistance in responding to security incidents and improving overall cybersecurity posture.
